Human Resources Business Partner

ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers

• Serve as a proactive, strategic HR/People partner to field operations leaders. • Drive alignment between human capital strategies and business needs. • Act as a liaison between the field and subject matter leaders. • Counsel leadership on performance management. • Collaborate with cross-functional subject matter leaders. • Lead workforce planning programs and processes. • Function as a compensation consultant and coach leaders.

Job Requirements

  • 4+ years of relevant human resources experience, ideally in a fast-paced multi-site organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • HR certification (PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP) preferred.
  • Strong understanding of HR programs to include compensation, performance management, employee relations, and talent acquisition/talent development.
  • Experience providing HR consultation to leadership on strategic initiatives.
  • Comfortable interacting at all levels of the organization and employs a data driven approach to solve business problems.
  • Comfortable functioning independently as well as within a team while working towards the broader HR vision/network goals.
  • Knowledge of employment law as it applies to administration of policy and process.

Role Description Ensure Sheetz adheres to all relevant federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures. Serves as the key liaison between the Sheetz HR and Legal teams. Developing, implement, and monitor HR compliance programs, conducting audits, drafting and updating employment policies and handbooks, and providing guidance to the HR team, executive leadership and other departments. Play a crucial role in advising leadership on ethical issues and working to foster a culture of ethical practice/integrity. Responsibilities - Develop, implement, and oversee HR compliance programs, policies and procedures. - Lead and manage a team of compliance professionals/specialists as the HR Compliance and Ethics function grows and expands in the future. - Through monitoring processes and systems, ensure compliance with current federal, state, and local employment laws: - Stay current with potential new or changing employment laws and legislation with a focus on new markets/states to which Sheetz may be expanding and advises HR and other departments on necessary actions to ensure ongoing compliance. - Ensure company’s compliance programs are updated accordingly. - Update existing policies and handbooks and drafts new policies when needed. - Serve as the primary liaison between the Sheetz HR and Legal teams to include coordinating regular meetings, updates, education, etc. to ensure that HR employees receive the resources and services necessary to ensure adherence to required employment laws. - Conduct risk assessments and regular audits to identify potential areas of legal exposure regarding Sheetz’ employment practices and to ensure compliance. Develop and recommends strategies to resolve identified risks. - Advise employees at all levels of the Sheetz organization regarding adherence to our Code of Ethics Policy, specifically as it applies to our HR and people practices. - Design and deliver training programs to educate employees about company ethics policies, compliance requirements, and reporting procedures, in coordination with the workforce training team. - Partner with Employee Relations team to conduct and coordinate certain internal investigations into suspected violations of compliance and ethics policies, including documenting findings, and reporting out to the appropriate individuals regarding the outcome of investigations. - Collaborate with the organization to ensure alignment and integration of compliance initiatives, policies, procedures, practices, etc. related to employment matters. - Complete HR related compliance reporting and metrics for executive leadership, the Board of Directors, and government agencies as necessary and requested. - Select and oversee third party vendors who provide ethics/compliance systems, processes and/or data that support Sheetz.
