Role Description As a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will be primarily responsible for bridging development and operations through collaboration, infrastructure as code (IaC), automation, and systems maintenance. This role requires excellent communication skills to work with stakeholders, understand their needs, and convey progress. The ideal candidate will excel at: - Designing and implementing best-practice IaC solutions (AWS/Azure) - Automating the deployment, scaling, and management of application infrastructure - Maintaining systems to meet company needs - Leading incident response and root cause analysis efforts to ensure quick issue resolution and prevention - Integrating security best practices into our infrastructure lifecycle to ensure compliance with data protection regulations - Comprehensive documentation of technical procedures, configurations, and deployed solution architectures This role reports directly to the Senior DevOps Engineering Manager. Qualifications - 7+ years of experience working with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and/or site reliability engineering - 5+ years of experience working with container orchestration tools (e.g. AKS, EKS) as well as the supporting deployment models and monitoring/observability of them - Expertise in launching fullstack applications and data ecosystems leveraging technology such as: Github Actions, Azure Terraform Modules, Azure Landing Zones, Azure Networking, Azure App Insights, Azure FrontDoor, Azure PLDMC Services, Azure Data Factory, and common AWS resources - Previous experience scaling platforms on Azure with a thorough understanding of reference architectures - Expertise in implementing DevOps culture, fostering collaboration between development and operations teams - Experienced in designing monitoring solutions around cloud infrastructure management - A passion for working with Engineering teams to help them identify where and when problems can be solved with cloud infrastructure and pipeline automation - Experience optimizing system reliability, scalability, and performance through DevOps methodologies - Motivated by identifying and prioritizing problems as much as you are solving them - Preferred Industry Certifications include: AZ-400: Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), Docker Certified Associate, HashiCorp Terraform Associate, Security Certifications related to Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud technologies - Interpersonal skills that are empathetic, courteous, and friendly - Experience in the healthcare space Requirements - Your previous platforms have good uptime and don’t require the CEO to call us to tell us everything is down, with monitoring tools like New Relic, DataDog, and CloudWatch Benefits - Stock option plan - Flexible schedules and remote work - Chicago and San Francisco offices available - Self-managed vacation days, within reason - Paid parental leave - Health, vision, and dental insurance - 401K retirement plan

Role Description The Site Superintendent - Fuels is responsible for overall field management and accountability for assigned task orders and other duties as assigned. They manage work sites, develop work plans, coordinate with subcontractors, and mentor field teams. They are the crucial link between the project managers and the construction site, attending site walks as assigned to support all CIG Fuels Programs. - Work with Project Managers to select, coordinate, and manage subcontractors, vendors, and field assignments effectively. - Maintain clear communication with the project team, clients, and subcontractors regarding project status, issues, and potential changes. - Oversee material procurement, equipment maintenance, and resource allocation to ensure projects have the necessary manpower and resources for timely project completion. - Develop and maintain proactive working relationships with team members, vendors, management, and other departments. - Monitor and report field execution status of their team with Project Manager and CIG/Fuels leadership. - Assist the Project Manager in preparing and executing Request for Information (RFIs) requests with designers and engineers to remedy issues quickly and cost-effectively, avoiding schedule delays. - Foresee a project's obstacles, risks, and constraints and effectively plan around them. - Ensure staff perform and follow the USACE 3 phase inspection process. - Direct the enforcement of the site-specific safety plan. - Other duties which may be assigned include Quality Control Manager (QCM) and/or Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO) based on specific contract requirements. - Other duties as assigned.
