• Own daily banking and cash management; code transactions, investigate discrepancies, and keep an accurate, current picture of company cash • Manage accounts receivable, enterprise invoicing and billing including setting up new customer subscriptions, maintaining billing records, tracking payment status, and resolving billing exceptions and failed payments • Run accounts payable; communicate with other teams for vendor onboarding, process received invoices, review coding and approvals, manage payment schedules, and maintain vendor records • Support month-end close; perform reconciliations, prepare workpapers and supporting schedules, and help with financial reporting, audit, and compliance needs • Take ownership of the accounting transition; partner with our external accountants during knowledge transfer, document processes, and bring recurring activities in-house for good
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of accounting experience, including ownership of month-end close
- Strong grasp of A/R, A/P, and bank reconciliations, you know this work cold
- Experience with Stripe or another subscription billing platform
- Comfort working in an ERP/accounting system and coding transactions accurately
- A track record of operating independently in a fast-moving, high-ownership environment
- Sharp attention to detail, with an instinct for improving process rather than just executing it

Role Description We are seeking a Senior Forensic Accountant to support financial investigations involving fraud, money laundering, asset tracing, and federal benefit programs. The candidate will perform forensic accounting analyses supporting oversight organizations and law enforcement partners. - Must have five (5) years of experience supporting complex financial analysis relating to tracing the proceeds of fraud. - Minimum of five (5) years’ experience specializing in financial investigations with an emphasis on money laundering and asset forfeiture. - Experience working with federal benefit programs and federal law enforcement is preferred. - Have a minimum of (5) five years’ experience in forensic accounting and the tracing and analysis of funds, including bank records. - Previous experience on a large-scale forensic accounting assignment involving federal benefit programs that involves the tracing of funds on large criminal or civil litigation matters involving fraud and money laundering allegations. - Possess working knowledge of current financial investigative techniques, including the use of commercial databases and other sources of information. - Expert level of proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint. Qualifications - Minimum 5 years forensic accounting experience. - Minimum 5 years supporting financial investigations. - Experience tracing funds. - Experience analyzing bank records. - Working knowledge of money laundering investigations. - Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
