• Own key areas of the month-end close process, including preparing complex journal entries, account reconciliations, and fluctuation analyses. • Assist in developing guidance on the accounting implications of new transactions and ensure compliance with US GAAP. • Assist in developing and designing our internal controls to improve the accuracy of our financial records and scale our processes. • Assist in the preparation of technical accounting memorandums and support drafting of footnotes and schedules for our financial statements. • Coordinate internal and external audit activities, serving as a key point of contact for auditors and managing the flow of information for selected accounting areas. • Drive process improvements by identifying opportunities to automate and streamline accounting workflows.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is strongly preferred.
  • 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with a background in public accounting or a combination of public and industry experience.
  • Strong knowledge and practical application of US GAAP, including experience with complex accounting topics.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to improve business processes, automate routine tasks, or enhance the quality and efficiency of financial analysis (Preferred).
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with a proven ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ability to work proactively and independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • A collaborative mindset with strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to quickly learn new accounting systems like Sage Intacct
