Role Description We are seeking a Senior Forensic Accountant to support financial investigations involving fraud, money laundering, asset tracing, and federal benefit programs. The candidate will perform forensic accounting analyses supporting oversight organizations and law enforcement partners. - Must have five (5) years of experience supporting complex financial analysis relating to tracing the proceeds of fraud. - Minimum of five (5) years’ experience specializing in financial investigations with an emphasis on money laundering and asset forfeiture. - Experience working with federal benefit programs and federal law enforcement is preferred. - Have a minimum of (5) five years’ experience in forensic accounting and the tracing and analysis of funds, including bank records. - Previous experience on a large-scale forensic accounting assignment involving federal benefit programs that involves the tracing of funds on large criminal or civil litigation matters involving fraud and money laundering allegations. - Possess working knowledge of current financial investigative techniques, including the use of commercial databases and other sources of information. - Expert level of proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint. Qualifications - Minimum 5 years forensic accounting experience. - Minimum 5 years supporting financial investigations. - Experience tracing funds. - Experience analyzing bank records. - Working knowledge of money laundering investigations. - Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. Requirements - Certifications: (One Required) - Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - Certified Fraud Examiner (ACFE) - Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (ACAMS) - Specialized training in the subject of money laundering and fraud in federal benefit programs is a plus. - This is a remote position.
