• Own key areas of the month-end close process, including preparing complex journal entries, account reconciliations, and fluctuation analyses. • Assist in developing guidance on the accounting implications of new transactions and ensure compliance with US GAAP. • Assist in developing and designing our internal controls to improve the accuracy of our financial records and scale our processes. • Assist in the preparation of technical accounting memorandums and support drafting of footnotes and schedules for our financial statements. • Coordinate internal and external audit activities, serving as a key point of contact for auditors and managing the flow of information for selected accounting areas. • Drive process improvements by identifying opportunities to automate and streamline accounting workflows.

• Manage the full Accounts Receivable cycle, including invoicing, cash application, reconciliations, and collections. • Review and process customer billing in accordance with contracts and company policies. • Monitor aging schedules, follow up on past due balances, and escalate collection issues when needed. • Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including AR reconciliations and reporting. • Prepare and maintain documentation for audits and compliance requirements. • Partner closely with U.S.-based accounting and finance teams to ensure alignment and timely reporting. • Identify opportunities to improve AR processes, tools, and controls to increase efficiency and accuracy. • Assist with other general accounting duties as assigned (GL, journal entries, accruals).

About the Role We're looking for a hands-on Senior Accountant to own the day-to-day financial operations that keep Clearly Filtered running accurately and efficiently. This is a high-ownership role for someone who takes genuine pride in clean books, timely closes, and trustworthy data, combining a strong foundation in transactional accounting with working knowledge of inventory and COGS in a product-based business.
