Revenue Cycle Reporting Analyst

Role Description Responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing revenue cycle reports to support operational, payer, and financial decision-making. Provides expertise in revenue cycle data tools to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance. Ensures data integrity across systems and produces actionable insights that drive performance improvement. Develops standard and ad-hoc reports to monitor KPIs, identify trends, and support leadership strategies. Coordinates collaboration with revenue cycle teams, IT, and finance to optimize reporting capabilities and enhance business outcomes. - Develops, generates, and distributes recurring and ad-hoc reports to support revenue cycle operations, payer, and financial performance. - Validates accuracy and consistency of data across revenue cycle systems and reporting platforms. - Analyzes key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement. - Collaborates with revenue cycle leaders, finance, and IT to translate business needs into reporting solutions. - Builds and maintains dashboards and visualizations to improve transparency and decision-making. - Troubleshoots reporting issues, identifies root causes, and implements corrective actions. - Documents reporting processes, workflows, and standards to ensure consistency and compliance. - Ensures reports comply with HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and organizational data governance standards. - Supports system upgrades, testing, and enhancements to reporting tools and data integrations. - Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree - 2+ years of experience in a related field - An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. - All experience must be paid and in the same related field. - Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week. - Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.
