Field Engineer

• Be willing and able to travel up to 50% of the year. • Understand customer needs and requirements, providing tailored integration solutions using the Frontline Perception System (FPS). • Identify and define integration processes for integrating FPS with existing and emergent systems. • Write Software Scripts to enable system integrations and workarounds. • Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and customer success teams to deliver robust integration solutions. • Conduct on-site assessments and evaluations to understand customer infrastructure and recommend optimal integration strategies. • Develop detailed integration plans, timelines, and documentation to guide the implementation process. • Provide hands-on technical support and training to customers during the integration and deployment phases. • Continuously gather feedback from customers to iterate and improve integration processes and FPS capabilities. • Ensure successful field deployments by troubleshooting and resolving integration issues promptly.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of work experience in system integration, preferably within defense or related industries.
- Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and their practical applications.
- Good understanding of networking concepts, LAN vs WAN, ssh, ip, DHCP etc.
- Proven experience in integrating complex software systems with existing infrastructure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically in high-pressure environments.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel frequently and work on-site with customers as needed.
- A college degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
