This role combines deep expertise in data engineering, cloud architecture, and modern AI technologies to support the development of data pipelines, analytics platforms, and Generative AI solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience building and maintaining enterprise-scale data infrastructure while contributing to the development of AI-driven applications, including conversational AI solutions and intelligent automation platforms. This individual will partner closely with engineering, product, analytics, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions that enable data-driven decision-making and next-generation AI capabilities. Key Responsibilities Data Engineering & Cloud Architecture - Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes across multiple enterprise data sources. - Develop and optimize data workflows using Python and SQL. - Design and maintain cloud-native data architectures utilizing services such as object storage, data warehouses, serverless compute, monitoring, and identity management. - Support infrastructure provisioning and automation through Infrastructure as Code (IaC). - Build, maintain, and optimize data warehouses, transformation layers, and analytical data models. - Troubleshoot and resolve performance, reliability, and scalability issues across data platforms and pipelines. - Implement workflow orchestration and automation using tools such as Airflow, Step Functions, or equivalent technologies. - Ensure data quality, governance, monitoring, and operational excellence across the data ecosystem. AI & Application Development - Collaborate on the development and deployment of Generative AI solutions leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and modern AI platforms. - Design and integrate APIs, data services, and AI orchestration layers supporting intelligent applications and conversational experiences. - Support front-end and back-end integrations for AI-driven applications utilizing modern web technologies and cloud-native services. - Implement secure authentication, authorization, and user management solutions. - Design scalable architectures supporting AI applications, model integrations, and enterprise user experiences. - Partner with product and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Platform Engineering & DevOps - Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and infrastructure management. - Support containerized workloads using Docker, ECS, Kubernetes, or similar technologies. - Implement monitoring, observability, and operational best practices across cloud workloads. - Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and cloud architecture best practices. - Maintain clear technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities. - Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices across the team. Required Qualifications - 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or Cloud Platform Engineering. - Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python. - Strong experience designing and managing enterprise-scale ETL/ELT pipelines and data models. - Hands-on experience with modern cloud platforms and services, including data storage, data processing, serverless computing, monitoring, and identity management. - Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using tools such as AWS CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation. - Experience developing and deploying distributed, cloud-native applications. - Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, data integration patterns, and service-oriented architectures. - Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB, or equivalent. - Experience building scalable, production-grade systems supporting analytics, automation, or AI workloads. - Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications - Experience building or integrating Generative AI solutions utilizing LLMs, conversational AI platforms, or AI agents. - Experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, or other modern web development frameworks. - Experience with workflow orchestration technologies such as Airflow or equivalent. - Familiarity with big data technologies including Spark, EMR, Databricks, or Hadoop. - Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. - Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, or other container orchestration technologies. - Knowledge of authentication and authorization frameworks including OAuth, SSO, and modern identity providers. - Experience supporting analytics, reporting, business intelligence, or data science environments. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
