Role Description We're looking for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Technical Consultant with the following responsibilities: - Design, develop, customize, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations technical solutions. - Participate in all phases of implementation projects, including requirements analysis, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. - Develop customizations, extensions, and enhancements using X++ following Microsoft best practices. - Perform technical upgrades, code upgrades, and data migration from Microsoft Dynamics AX to D365 Finance & Operations. - Design, develop, and maintain integrations between D365 F&O and internal or external applications using standard integration technologies. - Execute and manage data migration activities while ensuring data quality, integrity, and performance. - Develop, customize, and optimize SSRS reports based on business requirements. - Configure and support D365 F&O technical components, including workflows, batch framework, security roles, and user access. - Manage environments, source control, build pipelines, and deployments using Azure DevOps and ALM tools. - Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality technical solutions. - Develop and optimize SQL Server objects, including stored procedures, views, and queries, to improve application performance. - Collaborate closely with functional consultants, business users, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions. - Prepare technical design documents, deployment guides, and support documentation. - Ensure compliance with coding standards, security guidelines, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 development best practices. Qualifications - Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Requirements - Total experience 4+ years. - Strong experience as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Technical Consultant. - Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations technical development. - Proficiency in X++ programming and strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts. - Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile development methodologies. - Strong experience developing integrations using Web Services, DIXF, DMF, OData, SOAP, REST APIs, JSON, SSIS, and direct SQL. - Experience integrating D365 F&O with Azure Logic Apps and third-party applications. - Hands-on experience in complex data migration using DIXF, DMF, and third-party migration tools. - Expertise in SSRS report development and customization. - Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (2012 or later), including T-SQL, stored procedures, functions, and views. - Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), Azure DevOps, and Team Foundation Server (TFS) for source control, release, and deployment management. - Knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 technology stack, including .NET, Exchange, and SharePoint integration. - Experience configuring workflows, batch jobs, security roles, and system administration in D365 F&O. - Hands-on experience with B2B inbound and outbound integrations between D365 F&O and external systems. - Proven experience delivering at least 4–5 end-to-end Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 F&O implementation projects. - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
