Role Description You will join a specialist group that uses advanced math, computer programs, and data to build mathematical models that make smart, fast business choices - decide where to spend money on exploration, exploitation and how to run oil and gas projects. - Develop and maintain Python scripts and applications to support business processes. - Create and optimize math models and workflows, including uploading inputs into existing scripts and designing simple UI components where needed. - Implement Linear Programming with Python. - Implement data quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency across datasets. - Integrate and interact with databases for data storage and retrieval. - Perform data extraction and parsing from third-party APIs. - Support GIS mapping tasks. Qualifications - Bachelor Degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent and 4+ years of experience. - Strong experience in Python, implementing Linear Programming, creating mathematical models, workflows, and optimizing them. - Develops mathematical models and workflows from concept to implementation, applying algorithmic thinking and analytical approaches to address business and technical challenges. - Experience in Azure Cloud. - Strong understanding of database interaction (SQL or NoSQL), data automation, and building lightweight UIs. - Knowledge of data quality frameworks and ETL/data processing tools. - Ability to work with APIs for data extraction and integration. - Advanced English communication skills.
