Accounting and Reporting Manager

Point Wild (Formerly Pango Group)

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements for the global consolidated group • Support the financial statement audit providing technical accounting memos and calculations for complex transactions • Assist with building out internal controls and accounting processes in a global company to support audit requirements • Review journal entries and account reconciliations against supporting documentation to ensure accounting accuracy within the financial statements • Assist FP&A with forecasting process and recognition of revenue and expenses • Support day to day accounting operations by reviewing journal entries and providing management and support to staff as needed • Manage third party valuation experts on ASC 805 valuations for acquisitions • M&A accounting including net working capital, purchase accounting for asset and stock purchases • Equity accounting including stock based compensation, preferred equity, and warrants

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and CPA required
  • 6-8 years of accounting and/or finance experience
  • Minimum 3-4 years of “Big 4” public accounting experience.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience in an enterprise SaaS organization.
  • M&A (buy side and sell side) and Technical Accounting experience.
  • Experience with Workday ERP.

Role Description We currently have an exciting opportunity for Staff Accountant II - Financial Reporting and Accounting Policy to join the Tailored Brands Accounting team. The Staff Accountant II will report to the Manager, Financial Reporting & Accounting Policy. This is a remote position. The Staff Accountant II will be responsible for assisting with key components of the external reporting process, including: - Preparation support, tie-outs, and documentation for SEC filings (including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K and related disclosures) - Assisting with the quarterly earnings release - Preparing journal entries and account reconciliations - Contributing to internal reporting - Supporting technical accounting analysis, with exposure to areas such as equity and share-based compensation This position offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally with FP&A, Investor Relations, Treasury, and Corporate Accounting, while gaining hands-on experience in public company reporting, SEC compliance, and technical accounting as well as assisting with monthly internal management reporting. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, execution-focused, and able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven reporting environment.
