Lead Systems Engineer

• Leads team and independently supports the global design, implementation, and maintenance of private and public cloud infrastructure • Provides guidance and expertise to management and users on strategy and best practices • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience • Solves complex problems and takes new perspective on existing solutions • Coordinates the design, develop, and maintain the physical infrastructure, network, and layout of a data center • Coordinates reliability testing and plans disaster recovery procedures • Maintains operating efficiency and stability and ensure the security and integrity of systems and data

Job Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience managing data center resources and managing virtual hosting platforms
  • Advanced experience working with Unix, Linux, Windows, and container based systems
  • Advanced ability to automate and maintain automation for core job functions
  • Advanced understanding of data center layout planning, networking, and life cycle management
  • Advanced experience installing, configuring, and automating multiple operating systems
  • Advanced knowledge of trends in DevOps, micro-services, and automation orchestration
  • Advanced investigative, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Advanced experience designing and implementing configuration management solutions across various operating systems and virtualization environments
