Consumer Edge
• Full lifecycle management of a CPG, grocery, retail and restaurant account book. • Building and executing against a defensible expansion plan for each account. • Serving as the senior point of contact for key accounts. • Running contract negotiations and renewal conversations. • Staying sharp on our product roadmap. • Keeping CRM and account records accurate. • Partnering with Product, Marketing, Ops, and Customer Success. • Feeding client and market intelligence back to AM leadership and Product.
Job Requirements
- 6+ years in account management or client-facing roles at a data, SaaS, or research company, ideally with CPG, Grocery, Retail or Restaurant clients.
- A track record of growing accounts, not just retaining them.
- Comfort selling to and negotiating with senior stakeholders (VP and above) inside large organizations.
- Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.
- Strong analytical instincts.
- Sharp written and verbal communication.
- A self-starter who doesn't need to be told to chase whitespace.

Role Description The National Account Manager (NAM) is a senior individual contributor responsible for managing and growing strategic national account relationships with a focus on the company's exterior door programs. This role serves as the primary point of contact for key customers driving program development, revenue growth, and a superior customer experience. The NAM works cross-functionally with operations, product management, marketing, and customer service to ensure program execution excellence and long-term account retention. Key Responsibilities - Account Management & Revenue Growth - Own and grow national accounts (e.g., home improvement retailers, regional dealers, buying groups, and pro dealers) with a primary focus on exterior residential doors. - Achieve or exceed annual revenue targets and new account activation goals. - Conduct regular business reviews with key stakeholders to assess program performance, uncover opportunities, and address challenges. - Develop and execute account-specific growth plans aligned with the company's strategy. - Program Expertise & Execution - Serve as the subject matter expert on the company's exterior door offerings, including product lines, configurations, lead times, pricing structures, and ordering processes. - Train and educate account partners on program mechanics, product features, and systems/tools (order entry portals, configurators, etc.). - Drive program compliance and ordering accuracy to reduce errors, returns, and cancellations. - Collaborate with product management on catalog expansions, substitutions, and new product introductions. - Monitor order flow and proactively communicate status updates, delays, or exceptions to account partners. - Relationship Development - Build and maintain deep relationships at multiple levels within each account, including buyers, category managers, operations, and ownership. - Act as a trusted advisor and advocate, anticipating account needs and positioning the company as a preferred vendor. - Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and national account conferences. - Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner with operations, customer service, and information technology teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and issue resolution. - Coordinate with marketing to develop account-specific promotional materials, planograms, and sales tools. - Provide voice-of-customer feedback to product and operations teams to drive continuous program improvement. - Work with pricing and finance on quote approvals, contract negotiations, and special pricing agreements. - Reporting & Analytics - Track and report sales metrics, pipeline activity, account health, and competitive intelligence. - Analyze sell-through data and inventory positions at key accounts to identify gaps and opportunities. - Prepare and deliver executive-level account performance summaries and quarterly business review materials.
