• Lead/Manage/Support smaller teams in the field during operations and deployments • Manage resources and materials along with support of program goals • Collaborate with internal GD program team and other government stakeholders • Drive for Safety, Quality, Schedule and Budget control

Role Description Our Machinery and Equipment Specialties department seeks a field engineer to provide machinery and equipment boiler inspections. This position is in our Wisconsin and eastern Minnesota territory and can be filled by a trainee or experienced field engineer. Positions serving territories away from our headquarters in Fairfield, Ohio are fully remote. • Scheduling and performing territory service work such as on-site installation and preventative maintenance. • Performing emergency service (territory) repair visits. • Providing remote telephone assistance. • Being available to travel at short notice in order to support other Field Service Engineers when needed. • Timely completion of all required documentation. • Communicating any product quality issues to the appropriate persons. • Working closely with Territory Sales personnel and Field Applications Specialists. • Responsible for account management, ensuring a high degree of customer satisfaction. • Obtaining and communicating leads, identifying post-instrument sales, upgrades, and consumables.
