Magento Catalog Manager

Grape Collective

• Manage and maintain Magento/Shopify-based eCommerce websites. • Update and maintain product catalogs, including: • Product listings • Product descriptions • Pricing • Images • Categories • Product attributes and specifications • Ensure product information is accurate, complete, and customer-friendly. • Monitor stock visibility and merchandising presentation. • New product listing: organizational works for requests of images, texts, translations and other for new products • Monitor and manage the website shopping cart and checkout process. • Ensure customers can complete purchases smoothly. • Identify and escalate any checkout, payment, or cart-related issues. • Coordinate with developers and relevant teams to resolve issues efficiently. • Checkout process: ensuring customers are able to add the products to the shopping cart and complete the purchase with the payment methods accordingly • Perform regular website quality assurance checks following established company protocols and procedures. • Test website functionality from the customer’s perspective to ensure a seamless shopping experience. • Monitor: • Product pages • Navigation • Search functionality • Checkout flow • Promotions and discounts • Mobile responsiveness • Website usability • Bug management: reporting of bugs and errors in Magento/Shopify catalog or checkout process to developers with respective follow ups until fixed • Catalog QA verification: ensuring all products correctly appear on website, with attributes, prices, images, texts and availability corresponding to the stock • Coordinate website updates and operational tasks. • Track outstanding issues and ensure timely follow-up. • Work with internal teams, developers, and stakeholders to implement changes and improvements. • Maintain organized reporting and task tracking. • Ensure all work follows company SOPs, processes, and quality standards. • Work organization: creation and organization of tasks in task management system (Trello) with weekly and monthly reports

Job Requirements

  • Experience working with Shopify / Magento / Adobe Commerce (Magento 2 preferred).
  • Experience managing eCommerce product catalogs.
  • Strong understanding of the customer shopping experience and online store operations.
  • Experience with website QA and testing.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow structured procedures.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with multi-store or international eCommerce websites.
  • Basic understanding of SEO, merchandising, and conversion optimization.
  • Experience coordinating with developers and managing website-related projects.
  • Familiarity with spreadsheets, reporting tools, and task management systems.
