Role Description We're looking for an experienced business development professional who can help connect our expertise with the right customers and strategic partners. - Location: Remote - Engagement: Independent Contractor - Compensation: 100% Commission-Based (No Base Salary) Important: This is a commission-only opportunity. Compensation is earned exclusively as an agreed percentage of successfully won projects that originate through your efforts. There is no fixed salary, retainer, hourly compensation, or employee benefits associated with this role. The opportunity is best suited to experienced business development professionals who are comfortable working on a commission-only basis and already have an established network within the technology consulting ecosystem. Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in technology consulting sales, business development, partnerships, or channel sales. - A proven track record of generating consulting or professional services revenue. - Experience selling Data Engineering, Analytics, Business Intelligence, AI, software, or digital transformation services. - An established professional network and the ability to open doors with prospective clients and strategic partners. - Strong commercial negotiation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills. - Experience engaging founders, executives, business leaders, and technology decision-makers. - Excellent communication and presentation skills in English. - A highly self-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and take ownership. Requirements What You'll Do: - Identify and develop new consulting and project opportunities related to: - Data Engineering - Data Analytics - Business Intelligence (BI) - Data Warehousing (DWH) - AI & Generative AI solutions - Agentic AI applications - AWS and Anthropic-based AI solutions - Build relationships with prospective clients, consulting firms, technology partners, and executive decision-makers. - Generate qualified opportunities through your existing network, strategic outreach, referrals, and partner relationships. - Develop and nurture long-term partnerships that create recurring business opportunities. - Collaborate closely with our technical team during discovery calls, solution discussions, proposal preparation, and customer engagements. - Manage opportunities from initial introduction through commercial negotiation and successful handover to the delivery team. - Maintain visibility into your pipeline and provide regular updates on opportunities and market feedback. - Represent Datavent professionally within the data, analytics, AI, and AWS ecosystem. Role Description The Global Channel Sales ecosystem consisting of more than 1,000 partners and resellers is an important engine for our Go to Market strategy. This role specifically would lead the business unit’s channel sales business across some 20 partners in region with 100+ customers on this product line. This role is responsible for driving revenue and generating opportunities, across Northern/Southern Europe, Middle East and Africa, with Distribution & Channel Partners, enabling them on Precisely Software Solutions Product portfolio. You will manage our top focus channel partners and develop and execute a growth plan focusing on the Engage Suite of products. You will scan the market and recruit new partners for the Engage business and you will be operating as the primary interface to those partners. You will be responsible for generating new pipeline opportunities, managing partner funnel and driving deals to closed. - Implementation and execution of the Northern/Southern Europe, Middle East and Africa channel strategy plan consistent with company’s growth objectives. - Develop and lead strategic sales plans and revenue targets with Focus Growth Partners. - Manage Pipeline and deal flow opportunities between the Channel Partners and the Engage Revenue team. - Work with Partners to develop accurate and timely forecasts and monitoring performance against plan. - Scan the market and recruit high potential and next-generation channel partners. - Work with EMEA Distribution partners to execute a scale growth and recruit plan. - Drive account-based marketing plans and activity working collaboratively with the marketing team and promote brand, solutions and company thought leadership throughout the resellers’ portfolio. - Develop channel resellers’ capabilities and knowledge of Precisely’s products & solutions by providing briefings on services and products as well as ensuring that resellers receive regular training and enablement. - Gather market intelligence on competitors’ products and sales strategies and maintaining knowledge/expertise on all competitive products and services. - Working across Precisely teams such as engineering, channel ops, channel marketing, product management for cross group collaboration to address channel partners needs.
