Title: Legal Technology Entry-Level Developer Location: Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, United States Job Description: Job description Legal Technology Entry-Level Developer Overview TransPerfect is seeking motivated and tech-savvy Entry-Level Developers to join the team supporting Virtual Reef, TransPerfect’s internal business platform. This role is ideal for early-career professionals who are passionate about software development, problem-solving, and building scalable technology solutions in a collaborative environment. We are looking for candidates with experience or academic exposure to web development technologies, databases, front-end frameworks, or QA automation platforms. Successful candidates will be eager to learn, adaptable, and excited to contribute to innovative internal tools and applications. What You Will Be Doing - Support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the Virtual Reef platform - Collaborate with developers, analysts, and cross-functional teams on new features and improvements - Assist with troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving technical issues - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code - Participate in testing and quality assurance efforts to ensure platform reliability - Contribute to front-end and/or back-end development projects - Help document technical processes, workflows, and system updates - Support ongoing optimization and performance improvement initiatives - Stay current on emerging technologies and development best practices Required Skills & Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred - Exposure to or experience with one or more of the following: - PHP - MySQL - JavaScript - React - QA automation platforms such as Playwright or Selenium - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - Basic understanding of software development principles and web technologies - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Excellent communication skills and willingness to learn - Internship, academic project, or personal project experience is a plus Preferred Qualifications - Familiarity with version control systems such as Git - Experience working with APIs or databases - Exposure to QA testing methodologies or automation frameworks - Understanding of responsive web design and modern UI/UX principles Why TransPerfect?
