Role Description - Content Creation & Editing - Develop, refine, and revise articles for Medium, ensuring all blogs maintain a high standard of overall publication quality and accuracy. - Review all content to ensure strict adherence to guidelines for style, tone, clarity, formatting, grammar, punctuation, and spelling. - Craft engaging, concise summaries of long-form articles for use across various social media platforms. - Generate and source compelling images to accompany and enhance blog posts. - Team Leadership & Workflow Management - Lead, guide, and collaborate with a team of journalists, reviewing their drafts and providing constructive feedback to support their progress. - Manage editorial workflows by developing clear task descriptions within Asana and ensuring all deliverables are completed on schedule. - Communicate team progress, assigned task updates, and potential roadblocks directly to the Editorial Manager. - Departmental & Administrative Support - Compile editorial department updates for monthly company meetings (held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month). - Assist the Editorial Manager with ongoing projects, daily operations, and additional responsibilities as needed. - Stay continuously informed on current trends, tools, and developments related to content creation and digital publishing. - Perform other related administrative or editorial duties as assigned.
