Account Manager – Germany, South/West

• Field sales – regular customer visits and telephone support for the existing customer base • Price calculations for requirement and quotation requests, and preparation of offers • Checking availability of requested products • Administrative processing of inquiries and projects • Following up on demand requests / project tracking • Checking order confirmations for compliance with agreed prices / price commitments • Annual contract negotiations and administrative processing of contracts • New customer acquisition and related tasks • Technical/commercial acquisition of construction projects • Handling complaints and claims • Defining marketing measures for these customer groups (in cooperation with the Technical Area Manager) and the Marketing department
Job Requirements
- Technical degree and/or vocational training (particularly in civil engineering/construction)
- Several years of sales experience in a similar industry desirable
- Knowledge of the industry or related sectors: plastics, construction, insulation materials
- Good English skills, written and spoken
- Willingness to travel; Class B driving license mandatory
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications
- Communicative, goal-oriented, independent, reliable, with a quick grasp of new information

• Develop and implement strategic account plans for targeted customers in the IBD sector. • Build and maintain positive relationships with key opinion leaders (KOL’s), and healthcare professionals in the IBD field. • Achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives for assigned accounts. • Conduct product presentations and therapeutic area discussions to healthcare providers, ensuring accurate and up-to date information is conveyed. • Collaborate with both internal and external cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive strategy implementation. • Analyse market trends, competitor activities and customer need to identify opportunities for growth. • Provide exceptional customer service and support to healthcare professionals in handling product inquiries. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and performance metrics in the CRM system.
