Strategic Accounts Contracts Administrator

• Responsible for the development, maintenance and implementation of Health System, IDN and GPO (Strategic Accounts) bids, renewals and proposals. • Acts as a primary liaison between Merit’s Strategic Accounts Department and both internal and external customers. • Assist with proposal preparation, contract administration, customer contact activities, contract fulfillment, and compliance in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications under the supervision of the Strategic Accounts Supervisor. • Assists with financial impact reports for bids, proposals and renewals for review by executive officers and Strategic Account Director under the supervision of the Strategic Accounts Supervisor. • Assists in educating, interpreting and communicating essential information regarding terms and conditions of contracts. • Assists in monitoring all contracts for consistency and pricing uniformity. • Oversees on-going contract analysis, including a) verifying and managing contract compliance issues, including corrective actions to help assure achievement of S.A. and corporate goals; b) verifying and managing customer qualification under various contract criteria; c) verifying, managing and coordinating group pricing. • Oversees individual facilities’ group membership designations. • Designs and develops queries using internal and external database systems for generation of analyses and reports relative to contract progress, group membership, pricing, eligibility, administrative reports and administrative fees. • Conduct analysis to identify trends, issues, and process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and improve customer relationships. • Composes correspondence requiring understanding of technical matters. • Notes commitments made by manager during meetings and arranges for implementation. • May, in the manager's absence, ensure that requests for information or action are relayed to the appropriate individual(s) and, as needed, interprets such requests and assists in implementing action where necessary. • Performs other related duties and tasks as required.

• Increase sales revenues and profits by effective field sales practices. • Broaden the use of Merit products in all accounts and focus on selling those products with highest margins. • Consistently represent Merit Medical in a professional and ethical manner. • Establish and maintain close relationships with new and existing accounts/ customers. • Meeting regularly with existing and potential customers to present and demonstrate Merit Medical products and promote their features and benefits. • Identify potential customers and introduce them to the features and benefits of Merit Medical products. • Maintain good contact with all customers to monitor and ensure their ongoing satisfaction with and usage of Merit Medical products. • Identify and act upon all opportunities to improve satisfaction with Merit products and meet their clinical and economic needs. • Prepare and submit pricing quotations and tender pricing submissions for Merit Medical products to customers within authorized limits as and when required. • Follow up with customers to identify all opportunities to increase sales volume and profitability on territory. • Maintain customer details on CRM system. • Be the primary point of contact for customers in resolving any issues which may occur e.g., manufacturing issues, delivery problems, back-order issues. • Ensure that all such issues are dealt with as quickly and effectively as possible. • Manage territory effectively through appropriate planning. • Control customer pricing and give regular feedback on competitor information. Share with Regional Sales Manager and colleagues. • Ensure that all territory pricing, customer and competitor information is regularly updated and maintained in a comprehensive manner. • Ensure that this data is always available in a format which may be easily shared with Regional Sales Manager and other Merit employees as required. • Co-ordination with other Merit departments such as Marketing and Sales Support staff to ensure that the correct products are shipped to customers in a timely and effective manner. • Stay up to date and informed on the features, benefits and advantages of all Merit Medical products – both new and old. • Maintain high levels of knowledge of Merit Medical products and competitor products. • Communicate all feedback from customers to the correct channels regarding any suggestions for product needs or possible product innovations and new product ideas. • Make good business decisions within the approved authorization limits with reference to product pricing to optimize sales volume and profitability. • Prepare and work with the tender team within the product range Merit is offering. • Report via Weekly Report on previous week’s sales activities, competitor information, achievements and any issues. • Prepare for quarterly review with Regional Sales Manager to discuss sales to target achievements. • Participate in sales training, product training and sales meetings as and when required. • Participate in all corporate sales and marketing promotions as and when required. • Report all Merit Medical related issues from customers via the RGA process in a timely, comprehensive and effective manner. • Assist other sales colleagues and Management when reasonably requested to do so. • Undertake all other related administration duties (e.g. dealing with internal and customer email and telephone requests) in a timely and professional manner.

• Provides clinical training to various groups such as Sales Representatives, Tech Teams, Merit employees, Cath lab and Radiology staff, Insertion Site Care Clinicians and physicians on all Merit products. • Demonstrates mastery, competence, and expertise with all assigned products within the Interventional verticals and associated cardiac and interventional procedures. • Leads in organizing and overseeing the on-site or remote clinical aspects of product related StatSeal account trials or conversions, including documenting and tracking of comments, opportunities and projects in CRM. • Operates within the clinical applications team, acting as the main clinical resource for the assigned products in the assigned region, as well as a resource for other team members and providing assigned mentorship to peers. • In-service, guide, and clinically support customers on new and existing products, training and in-servicing at accounts’ locations ~50% of the time. • Assist in the assessment of new product market research trials in the field (CPE’s) and new product introductions. • Provide ongoing product related instruction to customers and offer relevant product information. • Address clinical inquiries from doctors, technicians, sales representatives, and other relevant parties. • Integrate into the clinical and regional teams to become a value-add contributing member. • Acts as clinical product related resource to customers and sales teams. • Perform other duties and tasks, as required.
