• Interacting with our customers as a Customer Reliability Engineer (CRE) • Adapting the best practices of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and applying them to our customers • Bringing this practice to the Isovalent software suite of products running on-premises and in major cloud providers on Kubernetes • Scheduled to work during business hours, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, in the Pacific Time Zone • Gaining a deep understanding of our customers, their architecture and various configurations • Working with various stakeholders, internally and externally to provide world-class support and issue resolution to various incidents • Enhancing our organization’s view into the health of our various customers
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s + 8 years of related experience or Master’s + 6 years of related experience or PhD + 3 years of related experience
- 6+ years of direct experience supporting and engaging with enterprise customers in a technical capacity
- 3+ years of experience operating Linux systems
- 2+ years of experience managing and scaling Kubernetes clusters or similar technologies in production environments
- 2+ years of experience with Terraform for deployment of cloud infrastructure
- Knowledge of standard methodologies for Linux operating systems security and their application in cloud-native technologies and environments
- Evidence of direct experience using network troubleshooting tools, including but not limited to packet capture and analysis utilities
- At least 2+ years of experience acting as a higher escalation point across multiple products lines
- Openshift experience is highly preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in networking concepts and technologies across OSI layers 2 through 7
- Experience resolving issues with Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies in small to medium size Kubernetes environments
- Prior professional experience with Container Networking Interfaces (CNI) including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting

This role serves as the primary point of accountability from contract execution through stabilization and transition to steady-state operations. The Implementations Leader coordinates cross-functional resources to ensure each client launch is delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with contractual expectations. Success in this role requires a blend of project management discipline, RCM operational fluency, and strong client-facing communication. This remote role welcomes candidates anywhere in the US.
