Role Description This position is responsible for supporting the execution of sweepstakes campaigns, promotional events, and player lifecycle initiatives on the Skillz platform. The role will directly drive player acquisition, engagement, and conversion through the successful execution of sweepstakes campaigns, including no-purchase-necessary promotions, limited-time offers (LTOs), coin bundle events, and seasonal sweepstakes activations. Working closely with Product Marketing, Analytics, Product, and Compliance teams, this hire will help ensure the Sweepstakes campaign calendar is executed seamlessly while contributing to improvements in key metrics such as pMAU, depositor conversion rate, and D30 retention. Responsibilities - Plan and manage Skillz sweepstakes player acquisition, engagement, and retention campaigns (emails, push notifications, in-app campaigns, sweepstakes entry promotions, and coin bundle offers). - Develop limited-time sweepstakes offers, prize-based promotions, and seasonal sweepstakes events to drive player activity and coin purchases. - Maintain the Skillz sweepstakes campaign calendar and ensure timely, error-free, and compliant execution of all events. - Use data insights and analytics to optimize sweepstakes campaigns and proactively recommend improvements to engagement and monetization mechanics. - Run A/B tests on sweepstakes campaign mechanics, entry offers, and prize structures; track key metrics and deliver actionable results. - Collaborate with Analytics, Product, Design, and Legal/Compliance teams to integrate sweepstakes campaigns seamlessly and ensure regulatory adherence. Key Competencies - Sweepstakes & Promotional Campaign Execution: Ability to plan, coordinate, and execute sweepstakes campaigns, limited-time offers (LTOs), seasonal activations, and promotional events with strong attention to detail and operational excellence. - Player Lifecycle & Retention Strategy: Understanding of player acquisition, engagement, retention, and conversion strategies, with the ability to optimize campaigns that improve key player lifecycle metrics such as pMAU, depositor conversion, and D30 retention. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively across Product Marketing, Product, Analytics, Compliance, and Operations teams to ensure campaigns are launched accurately, on time, and in alignment with business objectives. - Data Analysis & Performance Optimization: Ability to analyze campaign performance data, identify trends and opportunities, and make data-driven recommendations to improve promotional effectiveness and player engagement outcomes. - Regulatory & Compliance Awareness: Familiarity with sweepstakes regulations, promotional compliance requirements, and operational processes necessary to ensure campaigns adhere to legal and platform guidelines. Experience - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. - 1–3 years (Associate) or 3–5 years (Senior Associate) of experience in mobile gaming, sweepstakes, social casino, or consumer app marketing. LiveOps experience is a strong plus. - Experience with campaign management and CRM platforms (e.g., CleverTap, SpringBig, Braze) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau, AppsFlyer). - A/B testing and data-driven decision-making experience. - Familiarity with sweepstakes mechanics and promotional compliance requirements (no-purchase-necessary rules, prize fulfillment, applicable state regulations) is a strong plus.
