Role Description The Ideal role for an experienced Accounting professional interested in working ‘beyond accounting’, developing toward an FP&A or Controller track, and taking a real interest in the exciting opportunities presented by ‘FP&AI’ and ‘AI Accounting’. This is a broad, hands-on senior accounting role covering: - Revenue recognition - Month-end close - Reconciliations - Financial reporting You'll bring a tech-forward mindset, using Campfire and AI tools to modernize accounting processes making them faster and more accurate, freeing up more time for bigger picture, strategically impactful work. Key Responsibilities - Own the Close Process: Perform account reconciliations, and conduct variance analysis across balance sheet and income statement accounts, resolving discrepancies to ensure accurate reporting. - Revenue Recognition: Maintain and enhance revenue recognition process. Own the revenue and deferred revenue close process, including related journal entries and reconciliations. Ensure revenue is recognized accurately and consistently in accordance with ASC 606. - Systems & Process Improvement: Become the Enboarder SME for the Campfire platform, utilizing the power of the platform to automate and increase speed of execution on close, reconciliation, and revenue processes. Identify and implement AI-enabled solutions (both within Campfire and other AI tools) for revenue schedule automation, reconciliations, and anomaly detection across accounting workflows. - FP&A Collaboration: Partner with FP&A to support on deferred revenue analysis, forecasting inputs, and variance explanations. - Audit & Compliance: Drive the annual financial statement audit, preparing reports and supporting documentation for the external audit team, including revenue-related items. Ensure processes comply with internal controls and applicable accounting policies. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA a plus. - 4-6+ years of accounting experience, with real ownership of month-end close and exposure to revenue recognition (SaaS or technology environment preferred). - Solid working knowledge of GAAP and ASC 606 as applied to SaaS revenue models. - Experience with Campfire, Netsuite and or similar platforms. - Genuine interest in leveraging AI tools (Claude, Copilot, or similar) for process automation or accounting workflows. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable working independently and driving process improvements. - Strong communication skills for cross-functional work with Finance Leadership and other senior stakeholders. Role Description The Investor Reporting Accountant will be responsible for analyzing and validating all Investor related cash flows from the sub servicers to each of the Agency Investors along with Lakeview cash flows on the EBO and warehouse portfolios. Ensure that the sub-servicer is servicing the loans in accordance with FHA, VA, USDA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, GNMA guides as well as Lakeview’s policies.
