Role Description As a Senior Accountant at GroundTruth, you will play a key role within the Accounting organization, supporting month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, compliance, and day-to-day accounting operations across global entities. You are a detail-oriented and analytical accounting professional with a strong understanding of US GAAP and full-cycle accounting close. You will: - Be responsible for advanced month-end close activities, including but not limited to capitalization of internally used software, complex allocations, debt, accruals, full-scope subsidiary financial reviews and consolidation. - Identify and research accounting issues in compliance with US GAAP. - Prepare and post elimination and consolidation journal entries and perform intercompany reconciliation and reporting. - Manage assigned subsidiary entity accounting book period close per US GAAP and coordinate local statutory filings. - Conduct in-depth GL account analysis, prepare balance sheet reconciliations, and deliver variance/flux explanations for P&L and balance sheet accounts. - Own or assist gross margin related month-end activities including but limited to accruals, revenue recognition, and reporting. - Manage or support cash management activities such as bank reconciliations, cash flow tracking, and intercompany settlements. - Own or assist ad hoc projects or requests related to financial reporting, reconciliations, and analysis, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. - Support audit and management reporting requirements with accurate and timely deliverables. - Participate in cross-team training and coverage planning, ensuring adequate backup and knowledge sharing within the accounting team. - In exceptional situations, step in to assist other functions such as Billing or Accounts Payable or other unassigned areas when business needs arise. - Adopt an AI and automation mindset by proactively identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, automate recurring tasks, and enhance the accuracy and scalability of accounting processes. - Continuously evaluate and improve existing accounting processes and workflows to drive operational efficiency and scalability. Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. - 2+ years in public accounting (audit) preferred. - 2+ years of experience in corporate accounting. - Deep understanding of US GAAP and full-cycle accounting close. - Proven ability to connect the dots across accounts and systems, identify issues, and implement solutions independently. - Strong sense of ownership and accountability for assigned responsibilities. - Able to adapt to changing priorities and occasional extended hours during month-end close, quarter-end, year-end, and other critical business deadlines. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate variances and clearly explain financial movements. - Ability to work independently with strong initiative while managing competing priorities and tight deadlines under pressure. - Advanced Excel skills and strong experience with large data sets. - Experience with Oracle Fusion preferred. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Reliable and professional approach with a commitment to delivering accurate, audit-ready results. - Positive attitude, coachability, openness to feedback, and a collaborative team-player mindset. Role Description The Investor Reporting Accountant will be responsible for analyzing and validating all Investor related cash flows from the sub servicers to each of the Agency Investors along with Lakeview cash flows on the EBO and warehouse portfolios. Ensure that the sub-servicer is servicing the loans in accordance with FHA, VA, USDA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, GNMA guides as well as Lakeview’s policies. Work closely with the Transaction Management Team, Sub Servicers and Seller’s to ensure P&I, escrow and corporate balances are settled and loaded timely to the servicing platform and the appropriate corporate general ledgers. Role is fully 100% remote. - Ensure sub servicing reporting to the agencies and to Lakeview is timely and accurate - Review monthly bank statements from the sub-servicers ensuring timely completion and no items aging greater than 90 days. - Track resolution of Investor edits received from each of the agencies - Work with sub servicers to ensure all shortage surplus items are resolved and funded timely - Track, report and forecast monthly servicing advances to sr. management - Assist with the posting and disbursement to the general ledger - Balance all servicing acquisition cash flows between Lakeview, Sellers and Sub Servicers. - Ensure balances are loaded on the appropriate servicing platforms and tie back to wires and the appropriate general ledgers - Analyze sub servicer cash flows, identify control gaps or areas of risk and develop agreed upon action plans - Conduct monthly loan level investor reviews ensuring compliance with all applicable agency, state, investor and regulatory rules and regulations. - Provide monthly on-site support to sub-servicers when needed - Assist sub-servicer and/or provide subject matter guidance to the appropriate business units on any agency, investor or Lakeview policy or guide changes. - Other duties as assigned.
