Role Description The Corporate Counsel is a generalist in-house attorney supporting the labor and employment, commercial, compliance, litigation, and regulatory functions for the Company. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and international laws and regulations across a broad range of legal disciplines, primarily supporting operations in North America (U.S. & Canada). - Support and advise on Company policies and practices for all workforce-related matters, including: - Employee relations (ER/HR issues) for contingent workers - Employee benefits - Litigation and related compliance - Identify and mitigate compliance risks and potential claims against the Company and its affiliates. - Assist the General Counsel in overseeing external counsel. - Provide creative, proactive, and pragmatic legal guidance. - Act as both a strategic advisor and hands-on problem solver.
