You own static and lifestyle ad creative across Google end to end, by yourself. That covers GDN, Demand Gen, and Performance Max. That means the thinking and the making: - Research the market - Define the avatars and personas - Find the angles - Concept, design, generate, and ship You build direct response statics that convert cold, top of funnel traffic and pair with advertorials, and you build the lifestyle imagery PMax and Demand Gen run on. You do not wait for a strategist to hand you a brief, and you do not hand a layout to someone else to finish. This is a full ownership role for a designer who thinks like a marketer. We test creative at volume and buy against real spend, so your work is live within days, not quarters. You read what converts and you make the next round better. The best person for this treats design as a testing problem, not a portfolio piece. Qualifications - Proven experience designing high performing static ecommerce ads that ran on real spend, across GDN, Demand Gen, and PMax - Comfortable producing both direct response statics and lifestyle imagery, and knowing when each one wins - Fluent in the full Google static format set: 1x1, 4x5, 9x16, 1.91x1, and the native display sizes, built cleanly for every placement - Strong design fundamentals: layout, typography, hierarchy, and the eye to make an ad stop the scroll - You understand top of funnel: static creative that hooks cold traffic and hands off to advertorials and landing pages - You think in angles, avatars, and personas, and you can research a market before you open a canvas - Daily, fluent use of AI creative tools: fal.ai, Higgsfield, Manus, Claude, and whatever ships next - Comfortable reading performance data and letting it drive the next round of creative - A real grasp of direct response, not just clean visuals - A testing mindset built on volume, variation, and reading what actually converts Requirements - Research the market, the audience, and the competition to find angles worth testing - Define avatars and personas, and build static and lifestyle concepts around them - Concept, design, generate, and ship static and lifestyle creative for GDN, Demand Gen, and PMax end to end - Deliver every asset in the formats each placement needs: 1x1, 4x5, 9x16, 1.91x1, and the native sizes - Build top of funnel statics that pair with advertorials and landing pages to convert cold traffic - Produce at volume so there is always fresh creative to test - Read the results honestly and iterate on what wins - Stay ahead of every new AI creative tool in the space, and bring them in first - Feed winning creative into the media buying team and align with the content and landing page people so ad, page, and offer line up Benefits - Fully remote. Qualifications What you'll do: Creative Production: - Leverage AI content and collaborate with human writers to concept and design high-quality, engaging creative that test hypotheses, drive business results, and provide insights about our audiences. - Utilize skills in video production, editing, and motion graphics to create compelling, eye-catching visual communications that resonate with our target audience for a range of channels including email, Meta, Tiktok, display, native and more. - Support Brand design needs as business priorities require.
