Business Analyst, Medicaid
Gainwell Technologies
• act as the primary functional liaison between the client, MCOs, and our internal technical teams • lead requirements gathering sessions • manage client expectations regarding system capabilities and timelines • investigate root causes of systemic issues and collaborate with Operations team • serve as the Subject Matter Expert on Medicaid workflows • support Compliance Manager in assessing impact of new mandates
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of Business Analysis experience in Healthcare IT
- at least 2 years dedicated to Medicaid MMIS or state-level Eligibility & Enrollment systems
- deep understanding of Core MMIS modules
- experience with ALM tools (JIRA, Microfocus ALM, SharePoint)
- strong understanding of SDLC in Agile/Hybrid environment
- knowledge of Microsoft Excel advanced features
- Powerpoint and presentation skills
