Fast Channel Coordinator, Broadcast Operations
A+E Networks
Role Description This role reports to the Broadcast Operations department based in Stamford, Connecticut. The duties in this position support Fast Channel Scheduling. This position is Monday through Friday with flexible hours. - Schedule AEGM Fast Channels using the Wurl and/or Amagi scheduling systems. - Import channel schedules from the What’s On programming grid and time out the daily playlists. - Add or delete promo time as needed to time out the playlists. - Attend weekly Fast Schedule meetings to see what changes to Ad Slates or promos are planned. - Keep track of potential new channel launches. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in communications, Film, Television or 1 to 3 years’ experience in related field preferred. - Solid oral and written communication skills. - Both an analytical and creative thinking mind-set. - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Requirements - Please note project assignment associates are engaged to provide service to A+E Global Media on a temporary basis in connection with a specific project. - Project assignment associates are hired and employed through a third-party vendor with a duration/tenure of no longer than eighteen (18) months. Benefits - Contract Hourly Pay Rate: $34.04. - The pay rate displayed serves as a good faith estimate for this role. - Compensation for the role will be based on a number of different factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, location, and experience.
