Field Service Engineer
Cummins Inc.
• Complete repairs and rebuilds on engine products in the field. • Act as the front-line representative to customers. • Perform complete diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair of customer equipment at the customer’s location. • Develop productive customer relations. • Apply documented procedures and policies to complete repairs and schedule maintenance. • Assist with completion required documentation. • Complete training in line with skill and business requirements. • Ensure adherence to all meaningful Health, Safety & Environmental policies.
Job Requirements
- Previous experience as an engine technician.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot, diagnose issues, and perform repairs on engine systems efficiently and accurately.
- Ability to operate a service vehicle, including safely using service cranes and other heavy equipment as required for field service repairs.
- Class A or B CDL (preferred but not required).
- Cummins Engine Certifications in midrange, heavy duty or high horsepower (preferred but not required).

Requirements - Must be able to lift 50 pounds, and maneuver MGC Diagnostics Equipment. - Must be able to travel for business by plane or car up to 90% of the work week. - Must possess a valid driver’s license, have reliable transportation, and be able to travel by air to various locations.
