• Define and lead the enterprise Digital Asset Management (DAM) strategy and multi-year roadmap • Serve as system owner for DAM platforms (e.g., Bynder, SharePoint, Rights Cloud) • Establish enterprise-wide standards for metadata, taxonomy, naming conventions, permissions, and rights management • Develop and maintain retention, archival, and destruction policies in partnership with Legal and Compliance • Lead R.O.T. (Redundant, Obsolete, Trivial) data reduction initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce storage costs • Ensure audit readiness and governance compliance • Design scalable metadata frameworks and controlled vocabularies • Improve asset discoverability, usability, and consistency across the organization • Drive system optimization through audits, clean-ups, and continuous improvement • Build and document streamlined ingestion, tagging, archiving, and distribution workflows • Partner with Creative and Production teams to embed DAM practices into daily processes • Lead migrations, consolidations, and large-scale archival projects • Develop dashboards and KPIs to track usage, storage, compliance, and efficiency gains • Identify opportunities to reduce costs, eliminate duplication, and improve speed-to-market • Present insights and recommendations to leadership • Responsibility for auditing expiring assets across internal and external platforms, regularly communicating expiration reports, and partnering cross-functionally to determine which assets should be renewed, refreshed, or retired.

Job Requirements

  • 7–10+ years in digital asset management, archives, or enterprise information governance
  • Experience leading DAM strategy or systems at scale
  • Strong knowledge of metadata standards (Dublin Core, MARC, schema.org), taxonomy design, and archival best practices
  • Experience with creative asset licensing (Video, Imagery, Marketing Collateral, Talent Agreements etc)
  • Hands-on experience with DAM platforms (Bynder, SharePoint, or similar)
