Role Description The Director of Strategic Accounts will oversee all aspects of account management, including client retention, expansion, and satisfaction. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven ability to lead teams, manage complex client relationships, and drive revenue growth. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Leadership and Strategy - Develop and execute a comprehensive account management strategy to maximize client retention, satisfaction, and revenue growth. - Lead and mentor a high-performing account management team, fostering a culture of excellence and client-centricity. - Establish and communicate clear goals, KPIs, and performance metrics for the team. - Client Relationship Management - Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, serving as a trusted advisor and escalation point for major accounts. - Ensure clients realize the full value of [Your Company Name]’s cybersecurity solutions and services. - Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to expand client accounts. - Revenue Growth and Retention - Drive the expansion of revenue within existing accounts through strategic account planning and collaboration with sales and product teams. - Monitor and manage churn risks, developing proactive strategies to address potential challenges. - Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to identify and act on growth opportunities. - Operational Excellence - Standardize and optimize account management processes and tools to improve efficiency and scalability. - Implement customer feedback loops to inform product development and service enhancements. - Regularly report on account performance, retention metrics, and revenue growth to the executive team. - Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner with sales, marketing, product, and customer success teams to align account management initiatives with broader company objectives. - Advocate for client needs within the organization, ensuring products and services address evolving market demands. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree (e.g., MBA) is a plus. - 10+ years of account management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, preferably in the cybersecurity industry. - Proven track record of managing and growing large enterprise accounts. - Demonstrated ability to lead and scale account management teams. - Deep understanding of account management strategies and client lifecycle management. - Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and analytics tools. - Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder client relationships. - Experience in cybersecurity industry.
