• Write winning proposals that lead to increased sales. • Portray Fairfax Software and its solutions favorably in proposal responses. • Accountable for all aspects of proposal delivery, including researching, interviewing, writing, editing, design, print, packaging, and delivery. • Work with cross-functional team members including sales, engineering, product management, and professional services. • Develop substantive and persuasive responses to proposal questions within deadlines. • Maintain and update responses to standardized inquiries utilizing RFP database.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of marketing/proposal writing experience or Technical Writing with experience in Sales/Marketing.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the use of Responsive (formerly RFPIO) tool for developing proposals and maintaining library.
  • Experience in writing, editing, and producing highly effective sales proposals.
  • Significant experience in drafting and completing official RFP/RFI responses.
  • Experience articulating company vision and positioning throughout sales documentation.
  • Creative problem solver with ability to work independently.
  • Experience working in entrepreneurial environment.
  • Focused, results-driven temperament.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Excellent organizational, planning and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work across organizational functional boundaries.
  • People and team oriented with clear ability to support same.
  • Strong customer service philosophy.
  • Specific experience in Technology or Software industries is highly desired.
