Job Requirements

  • Doctoral degree in Emergency and Disaster Mgmt or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution is required.
  • Five or more years of experience in an Emergency and Disaster Mgmt field is required.
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required.
  • Candidates must be able to communicate effectively in both languages, verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in English and Spanish with the ability to convey complex information clearly and accurately across diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency testing in both English and Spanish will be part of the application process to confirm language fluency levels required for the position.
  • Ability to translate and interpret information, ensuring accuracy and cultural sensitivity in communication.
  • Experience supporting or engaging with Spanish-speaking students preferred.
  • College-level teaching experience is preferred.
  • Online teaching experience is preferred.
  • Record of excellence in teaching.
