• Part-time and full-time teaching faculty share our commitment to learning, teaching, interaction with students and faculty, service to our communities of practice, and scholarship. • Deliver online lessons to undergraduate and/or graduate students. • Initiate, facilitate, interact, and moderate online classroom forums. • Evaluate and grade students' class work, assignments, and papers within the timeframe set forth by APUS policy providing effective feedback to guide student learning and success. • Engage in the classroom and reply to emails, etc. at least every other day, including one day during the weekend. • Participate in professional development to enhance teaching skills and effective online learning strategies.

• Manages Academics projects and initiatives, using principally a hybrid Agile Scrum iterative methodology, including: Planning, organizing, and monitoring projects’ scope, dependencies, impact, timeline, documentation, and effective use of resources. • Defining work-breakdown structures and schedules (sprints dashboard). • Maintaining project requirement backlogs. • Coordinating and guiding requirements and design workshops using online collaboration tools. • Resource management (assigning tasks to individuals). • Activity monitoring, including collaborating with project leads to guide task completion and helping clear roadblocks. • Stakeholder management (leading standups/meetings, disseminating status reports). • Drafting and sharing project documentation. • Development of project dashboards relative to needs of project team members and stakeholders. • Risk identification and mitigation. • Project closeout activities, including leading retrospective meetings. • Manages vendor-related activities associated with projects, including contracts, deliverables, and invoice payments, per established company policies and procedures. • Creates and maintains a repository of Project Management Office (PMO) artifacts, documentation, and tools that assist others in Academics who manage projects and initiatives. • Collaborates with and provides feedback to others who manage Academics projects. • Matures business process automation for Academics, leveraging Microsoft Power Automate and Microsoft 365 tools. • Creates and edits business process documentation. • Coordinates, monitors, and tracks departmental budgets, as requested by the Associate Provost. • Prepares reports and content, as needed, including material for Board presentations, accreditation, and other initiatives.

• Develop and maintain functional expertise in the development and delivery of training of assigned content area(s) • Serve as facilitator for a variety of training programs • Deliver specific learning opportunities to drive engagement and build organizational capability • Track training program effectiveness and completion rates • Provide high impact training through all available modalities, including virtual asynchronous, virtual live, and in person depending on business need • Partner with the assigned business units to communicate and drive successful unit wide training • Deliver and maintain an integrated training curriculum that supports business priorities and strategies • Assist in evaluating training program effectiveness; utilize evaluation data to recommend changes in instructional objectives, content and methods • Assist in the management and use of an enterprise wide knowledge base • Provide input on prioritizing company-wide training program initiatives • Assist in collecting statistical data, metrics, etc. for administrative/quality improvement purposes as related to training activities and quality assurance reviews • Perform audits of knowledge base articles and email communications for assigned content areas • Monitors the progress of trainees and maintains records training and development activities assessing attendance, certification, assessments, and retraining requirements.

• Provides immediate, ongoing, and efficient information and problem resolution to students in a timely manner via telephone, e-mail, or electronic chat • Protects the privacy of student accounts through compliance with federal student privacy law (Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)) • Develops efficient conflict resolution strategies and communications • Demonstrates skill in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and other software applications used in the Student Support Center • Resolves routine and escalated customer concerns in a professional and efficient manner • Maintains a productive working relationship with other APUS departments, such as Financial Aid, Fulfillment, Military Assistance, Student Services, Marketing, Admissions, etc • Meets or exceeds performance goals as determined by the AVP, Customer Service Operations and Student Communication • Keeps work area organized and in a professional appearance at all times • Adheres to assigned work schedule, which may vary and include evening and weekend hours • Assists other team members with special projects as assigned • Performs other duties as assigned

• Conducts inbound phone-based discussions, advising and educating students on various forms of Federal Student Aid • Provides a high level of customer service, ensuring that the student is packaged with funding to access courses and pursue degree completion • Actively engages in problem solving and regularly works with basic math skills to review financial aid package information to ensure correct processing • Seeks out opportunities to enhance the student experience and promote high-quality service • Leverages financial aid and student databases to perform research while on phone calls to assist students and parents through the financial aid cycle in real time • Ensures daily duties are met within established Service Level Agreements and remains flexible to daily workflow as a result of staffing and business needs • Consistently meets department quality and productivity metrics • Collaborates with other University departments including Admissions, Advising & Student Support on an as-needed basis • Maintains accurate knowledge of the University’s products and services • Understands and adheres to laws, regulations, policies and procedures, and compliance requirements, staying current on industry standards • Maintains eligibility to access the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS)
