• Actively embody and uphold the values, mission, and integrity of GSCC across all areas of work. • Support the cordindation and day-to-day operation of the fact-checking RE:FACT platform, serving as its operational backbone to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery. • Maintain, expand, and manage the RE:FACT expert pool and advisory network, including recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and long-term collaboration mechanisms. • Align internal teams, partners, and workflows to ensure work is executed coherently, efficiently, and in an outcome-driven manner beyond administrative coordination. • Coordinate expert contributions across projects, facilitate collaboration, and ensure timely and relevant expert input. • Monitor media and digital spaces for climate and energy misinformation, particularly related to renewable energy, and assess its significance and potential impact. • Support the development and coordination of responses to misinformation, including fact-checking materials, rebuttal content, journalist engagement, and collaboration with experts and partners. • Provide input to strategic planning based on monitoring and anlysis addressing recurring misinformation narratives and systemic challenges. • Support journalists by developing story ideas, providing background materials and data, facilitating access to experts, and coordinating reporting support. • Design proactive initiatives to strengthen evidence-based media coverage, including field trip support, study sessions, and thematic briefings. • Support the development and operation of the RE:FACT digital platform and social channels, including leading or coordinating the integration of AI-based tools for rapid fact-checking and knowledge retrieval. • Support implementation of RE:FACT’s strategic priorities, ensuring strong integration across expert engagement, media support, misinformation monitoring, and digital operations.
Job Requirements
- 2-4 years of professional experience in strategic communications, journalism, project management or other relevant fields.
- Can-do attitude, proactive approach, productivity, and willingness to work hard are key.
- A team player and a natural collaborator with a passion for excellence.
- Ability to work independently with a little supervision;
- Excellent communication and language skills, both written and verbal is essential and English fluency is preferred.
- A commitment to an inclusive and empowering approach to climate and energy issues.
- Regional knowledge: an understanding of the political, economic, and social dynamics of South Korea and the Southeast Asia region.
- Proactive attitude with a growth mindset along with a readiness to travel and adapt to unusual working hours as needed.
- The versatility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced work setting that involves different time zones and communication methods, with previous experience working in a remote and global environment.
