Title: VP Marketing Operations Manager Location: New York United States Full time Hybrid Job Description: Citi is looking for a Marketing Operations Manager to lead governance, controls, and operational execution across Paid Media, Ad Tech, Marketing Measurement, and Business Execution within a high-performing Marketing organization. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of campaign operations, risk management, and cross-functional delivery ensuring that processes, reporting, and vendor activities are executed accurately and in line with internal standards. Your work will directly strengthen the operational discipline and control environment that underpins Citi's marketing function at scale. Responsibilities - Manage governance and controls activities across Paid Media, Ad Tech, Marketing Measurement, and Business Execution, ensuring adherence to established processes, policies, and control requirements. - Identify operational risks and process gaps across the marketing function, develop practical solutions, and drive implementation to close those gaps. - Coordinate control-related activities including audits, issue remediation plans, and ongoing monitoring efforts to maintain operational integrity. - Lead multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines and deliverables are met across a fast-paced environment. - Develop and maintain process documentation, operating procedures, and control inventories to support consistency and accountability across the organization. - Analyze operational data, reporting, and performance metrics to surface trends, exceptions, and areas requiring attention, and communicate findings clearly to leadership. - Partner with stakeholders across Marketing, Finance, Procurement, Legal, Compliance, and Analytics to align priorities and drive execution on shared objectives. - Prepare executive-ready presentations, status updates, and communications that clearly convey operational performance and risk posture. Required Qualifications & Skills - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Analytics, or a related field. - 4-7+ years of experience in business operations, governance, controls, project management, marketing operations, or risk management. - Demonstrated ability to identify issues, inconsistencies, and operational risks with strong attention to detail. - Proven organizational and project management capability, with experience managing multiple priorities and workstreams concurrently. - Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing and delivering presentations to senior leadership. - Ability to collaborate with and influence stakeholders across varied teams and seniority levels to drive alignment and execution. - Experience developing process documentation, operating procedures, and driving measurable operational improvements. Role Description Under direct supervision, the Senior Marketing Operations Coordinator will be primarily responsible for “Level 1” responses to Marketing Central requests, across a broad range of Marketing topics and tasks. This person is the first line of person-to-person contact with lawyers and business professionals who turn to Marketing Central to access support from the firm’s Communications, Marketing and Business Development department.
