Role Description The Corporate Accountant supports the Accounting and Finance function by managing financial reporting, general ledger activities, and transactional processes across corporate entities. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of accounting operations while partnering with internal stakeholders to support financial performance and organizational objectives. - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements for corporate entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. - Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including preparation and posting of journal entries. - Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, intercompany transactions, and employee expense reimbursements. - Support payroll and benefits accounting, including reconciliations, allocations, and related entries. - Track and maintain fixed asset schedules, including additions, disposals, and depreciation. - Monitor corporate cash positions and perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy. - Serve as point of contact for corporate banking activities, including wires, transfers, and intercompany funding. - Facilitate and track intercompany transactions, including loans and allocations across entities. - Support year-end close processes, including coordination with external partners for tax preparation and financial reporting. - Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking to support financial planning activities. - Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies and procedures. - Partner with internal stakeholders across departments to support financial operations and reporting needs. - Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Minimum of three (3) to four (4) years of corporate accounting experience, preferably within a multi-entity or hospitality environment. - Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards. - Experience managing general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and journal entries. - Proficiency in accounting systems and financial tools; experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with high attention to detail. - Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner across departments and support business operations. Work Environment - Primarily operates in a professional office environment with regular use of standard office equipment and computer systems. - Minimal travel may be required for corporate meetings, audits, or business needs. - Requires extended periods of sitting, working on a computer, and performing detailed financial analysis. - Fast-paced corporate environment with deadlines tied to monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting cycles. - Regular interaction with accounting team members and cross-functional departments to support financial operations and reporting.
