Outside Sales Representative

Bray International, Inc.

• The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for managing a designated territory and customer base, ensuring existing customer satisfaction, and achieving new account acquisition and sales goals • Establish and manage sales objectives, goals, and forecasts for the designated territory • Conduct regular field visits throughout the assigned region to engage with customers, understand their needs, and drive sales • Collaborate with customer technical teams to specify and apply industrial equipment, while offering ongoing product education and technical support • Maintain and enhance relationships with existing customers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty while also identifying new business opportunities • Act as a point of contact for resolving customer disputes, working closely with office staff and factory personnel to address and resolve issues in a timely manner • Regularly report on sales activity, market trends, customer feedback, and progress toward meeting or exceeding sales goals

Job Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 – 5 years of successful experience in an engineering or technical role within an industrial setting, preferably in valves, flow control products, or related industries
  • Alternatively, equivalent sales experience is acceptable
  • A BS degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred, however, a high school diploma combined with relevant experience will also be considered
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Ability to understand and explain the application of industrial equipment in customer processes
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the designated territory
  • Valid driver’s license required; personal vehicle available for sales and service calls
