Director, Comirnaty Retail Marketing Lead – Secondment (12 Months)

• Develop retail strategies and marketing initiatives, continuously generating insights and learnings to drive brand performance • Lead development and delivery of retail channel-specific resources and pull-through programs that are aligned to brand strategy; build timely, robust metrics plans to adjust execution as necessary to achieve goals • Lead efforts to develop innovative and integrated digital omni-channel retail strategies and tactics to communicate brand messages effectively and efficiently to targeted customers • Provide marketing leadership and work in strong collaboration with the Retail Pharmacy Team (RPT) and the Trade Account Director (TAD) team, to ensure strategic and tactical alignment, as well as incorporate customer insights into marketing programs and tactics • Lead the development of content for CFC meetings including planning, execution, and follow-up engagement • Support the development and implementation of annual operating and tactical plans that drive the short- and long-term retail strategy • Identify and collaborate on development of retail specific consumer assets • Collaborate with cross-channel brand team to identify opportunities for synergies and ensure positioning, strategy, and messaging are consistent across the brand • Participate in external customer meetings to discuss partnership opportunities • Partner with Business Analytics & Insights (BAI) team to identify innovative data sources and develop/utilize tools to assess channel trends and performance, as well as create segmented targeting opportunities, and to identify and operationalize workflow-focused patient identification and communications programs • Support retail business performance leadership requests • Collaborate across the vaccines portfolio to identify potential synergy opportunities in the Retail channel • Provide channel-specific strategic direction to all AORs for development and delivery of relevant and innovative programs and materials to Retail customers • Manage retail marketing A&P budget, partnering with brand team budget coordinator • Be a patient-focused team player and exemplify the Pfizer values of Courage, Excellence, Equity, and Joy by fostering innovation, customer focus, personal accountability, and a commitment to achieving results

Job Requirements

  • Must have a bachelor's degree with at least 8+ years of experience
  • Minimum 7+ years commercial/marketing experience is required including US pharma experience
  • Strong familiarity with US retail pharmacy market landscape with experience in identifying unmet needs for pharmacists as well as consumers/patients using pharmacy services
  • Good understanding of retail pharmacy workflow, as well as pharmacist and pharmacy technician education/training-specific needs and processes
  • Experience in developing initiatives to effectively engage and educate retail pharmacy patients/consumers in disease areas of focus that support activation
  • Demonstrated innovation champion, seeks learnings from other brands and other industries to innovate and enhance launch plans
  • Demonstrated matrix leadership and ability to foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork
  • Established business acumen and pharma industry/vaccines business knowledge
