Role Description This position is contingent upon contract award. SOSi is seeking a Geospatial Solutions Architect to support mission requirements for a structured approach to further develop, integrate, and sustain a scalable, federated data ecosystem that enhances interoperability, governance, and mission-driven analytics for a DoD customer. The primary objective of the program is to bridge the operational gaps between DoD, IC, interagency, and non-traditional international partners to enable real-time information sharing, dynamic data integration, and mission-tailored analytical capabilities. Essential Job Duties: - The contractor shall design, implement, and maintain geospatial data visualization solutions that integrate with cloud-based platforms. - The contractor shall develop operational dashboards that leverage GIS tools such as ESRI ArcGIS, QGIS, and open-source geospatial platforms. - The contractor shall optimize geospatial data layers for real-time analytics and cross-domain information sharing. - The contractor shall oversee the integration of geospatial AI/ML models, ensuring accuracy and alignment with mission requirements. - The contractor shall provide the Geospatial Data & Dashboard Integration Report, detailing geospatial system enhancements and user engagement metrics. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geospatial Science, or a related field, or five (5) years of equivalent experience in geospatial architecture. - Demonstrated experience in developing GIS solutions using ESRI ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar platforms, as well as integrating geospatial data into cloud-based applications. - Experience with spatial analysis, remote sensing, and geospatial AI/ML applications is required. - Possess the knowledge and capability to design and implement geospatial visualization solutions, ensuring integration with operational dashboards and cloud-based platforms. - Proficient in GIS tools, geospatial data processing, and mapping services. • Engage with public sector customers, both onsite and remotely, to provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the pre-sales process, including tailored demos, technical presentations, and hands-on workshops. • Collaborate with the sales team to shape and execute account strategies that drive GitLab adoption within government environments. • Own the technical evaluation process, including proof of concept (POC) and proof of value (POV) design and delivery, tender and audit support, and technical input into proposals. • Lead the creation of Customer Success Plans that capture technical success criteria and handoff details from the pre-sales process, ensuring a smooth path to deployment and adoption. • Build and deepen relationships with technical and business stakeholders so they become advocates for GitLab within their organizations. • Serve as the customer advocate internally by channeling feedback and insights to Product, Sales, Marketing, and other GitLab teams to influence roadmap and messaging. • Maintain and expand your expertise in GitLab and related technologies, including modern software development, operations, and cloud practices, and create reusable examples and assets for customers and partners. • Run Value Stream Assessments to identify opportunities for customers to improve their software delivery with GitLab.
