Role Description We are looking for a senior, hands-on leader to fully own and build out our international HR & recruitment function. This is not a role for someone who maintains an existing process. You will be the architect of the entire department: the structure, the systems, the tools, the team, and the standards. The HR team today is being built deliberately under this scale (currently two specialists in Panama and Serbia, growing to four or five), and your job is to turn it into a fully structured, high-performing international department that matches the size and complexity of the business. You will own the strategy, the architecture, the team, and the results, reporting directly to senior leadership. What you will build and own - Design the entire international HR & recruitment structure: org design, roles, workflows, reporting lines, and documentation standards across multiple jurisdictions - Build the end-to-end recruitment system: sourcing strategy, channel and job-board selection per market, screening frameworks, interview processes, and offer management - Select, implement, and manage the core HR tech stack: HRIS and ATS - Create structured onboarding and offboarding training programs and process documentation using tools such as Trainual, SweetProcess, or similar - Define, implement, and enforce a clear KPI framework — hold the team fully accountable to ambitious, measurable targets - Lead, mentor, and scale a distributed team across different countries and time zones - Track and drive key metrics: time-to-hire, quality-of-hire, pipeline conversion, and cost-per-hire Qualifications - International recruiting experience in the EU or USA — minimum 5 years - Proven experience managing and leading a team - Hands-on experience managing an HRIS (HR information system) - Hands-on experience managing an ATS (applicant tracking system) - Experience creating training programs for onboarding and offboarding, using tools such as Trainual, SweetProcess, or similar - Experience creating and managing KPIs for an HR/recruitment team - Strong, results-driven mindset — full ownership and accountability for outcomes - English at C1 level or higher (written and spoken) - Proven experience building or scaling an HR/recruitment function from the ground up — not just running an existing one Requirements - Spanish language (significant advantage) - Experience hiring across multiple regions (LATAM, Europe, USA) - Experience managing remote/distributed teams across time zones Benefits - Competitive salary: USD 3,500–5,000/month + performance-based bonus, depending on experience - A senior leadership role with full ownership of building the international HR function for a 50+ person, multi-country group - A fast-growing, international environment with real impact and autonomy - Remote / flexible work format
