Key Account Manager

Join our Commercial team and support companies on the path to a sustainable energy supply. • As a Key Account Manager you will be responsible for establishing and developing strategic customer relationships and will work closely with our internal specialist departments to successfully implement tailored energy solutions. • Own and develop strategic customer relationships with owners, asset holders, industrial companies, project developers and operators of commercial properties. • Manage the entire sales process – from needs analysis to successful contract closing. • Advise companies on long-term onsite PPA and contracting solutions and, together with our internal specialists, develop economically optimal energy concepts. • Analyze energy demands and business models and develop economically viable solution concepts. • Prepare and present business cases and profitability analyses. • Conduct sales and contract negotiations at decision-maker level. • Maintain your sales pipeline and document all customer activities transparently in our CRM system. • Work closely with project development, planning and technical teams to successfully implement customer projects. • Identify new sites, expansion potential and cross-selling opportunities within existing customer organizations. • Develop long-term account strategies and strategic customer partnerships. • Identify new business opportunities and market potential in the energy sector. • Support complex energy and infrastructure projects from the initial idea through to implementation. • Prepare forecasts, sales reports and market analyses. • Actively shape our sales and market strategy and represent GIGA.GREEN at events and conferences.
Job Requirements
- Degree in business, energy economics, engineering or a comparable qualification
- Experience in complex B2B sales or key account management – ideally in the energy, real estate, industrial or construction sectors, or in the sales of technically complex capital goods or project-based services
- Experience selling technically complex products or project-based services
- Understanding of energy markets, energy projects or renewable energy is an advantage
- Strong communication and negotiation skills and a confident presence at decision-maker level
- Ability to develop business cases and profitability analyses and present them convincingly
- Structured and independent working style with a strong customer and solution orientation
- Experience with CRM systems and enthusiasm for building long-term customer relationships
- Willingness to travel within Germany for customer visits, site meetings and events.

Role Description The Account Manager primarily serves as a liaison between Hamilton Insurance Agency and our clients. Working to retain existing clients by building, expanding, and solidifying relationships with existing clients at all levels within the company. This position is open to fully remote candidates.
