Job Description
Senior Solution Engineer
UiPath
• Partner with the Account Executives to drive revenue across UiPath’s agentic platform. • Design and demonstrate orchestrated solutions that bring together AI agents, robots, and humans across end‐to‐end business processes. • Be the trusted technical advisor who translates complex, cross‐system business processes into agentic blueprints. • Present credibly to audiences ranging from process owners and enterprise architects to CIOs and CFOs. • Contribute to the Presales community by sharing reusable assets.
Job Requirements
- Experience in a customer‐facing role — presales / solutions consulting / solution architecture / strategic consulting — selling or delivering enterprise automation, BPM, AI, or integration software.
- Hands‐on experience modelling business processes in BPMN standards - and an understanding of how BPMN maps to executable orchestration.
- Working knowledge of decision modelling — DMN, decision tables, or decision graphs — and how decision logic is separated from process flow in modern orchestration platforms.
- Practical experience with at least one BPM / workflow platform such as ServiceNow (Workflow Studio / App Engine), Pega, Appian, K2 / Nintex, IBM BPM, Camunda, or Bizagi — ideally including process design, decision logic, integration, and deployment.
- Understanding of agentic AI concepts — autonomous agents, tool / function calling, retrieval, evaluation, guardrails, and human‐in‐the‐loop patterns — and how they apply inside enterprise processes.
- Familiarity with LLMs and the broader AI ecosystem (model providers, embeddings, RAG, agent frameworks) at a level sufficient to discuss architecture and trade‐offs with technical buyers.
- Previous experience with UiPath or another automation platform is a strong advantage.
- Results‐oriented, outcome‐based mindset with the ability to quantify business value (cycle time, cost‐to‐serve, accuracy, capacity unlocked) and tie solution design to it.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, with the credibility to present to both technical and executive audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and structure complex problems quickly.
- Team player attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast‐paced, matrixed environment.
- Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory.
Benefits
- Lead technical engagements across the sales cycle for UiPath’s agentic platform — from discovery and solution shaping through demonstrations, proof‐of‐value, technical validation, and handover to delivery.
- Conduct deep discovery of customer business processes, existing automation and BPM landscapes, and AI ambitions; identify where agentic orchestration delivers measurable outcomes.
- Model end‐to‐end processes in industry standards such as BPMN 2.0, CMN and design supporting decision logic (DMN / decision graphs) to articulate how UiPath Maestro orchestrates AI agents, robots, APIs, and human approvers across long running, stateful workflows.
- Translate strategic business challenges into agentic solutions — exception handling, human‐in‐the‐loop checkpoints, and ROI across the process.
- Position UiPath against and alongside incumbent BPM platforms (SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Pega, Appian, IBM, Nintex/K2) and iPaaS tools; articulate where UiPath extends, complements, or replaces existing investments without dismissing the customer’s prior architecture choices.
- Design and deliver compelling demonstrations and proofs‐of‐value that show agents, robots, and humans collaborating on real customer scenarios — grounded in BPMN process models and governed by the AI Trust Layer.
- Stay current on agentic AI patterns (autonomous agents, tool use, retrieval, evaluation, guardrails) and on the evolving UiPath platform.
- Drive end‐user adoption of UiPath’s agentic capabilities through events, executive briefings, webinars, and hands‐on workshops.
- Support Marketing and field initiatives through evangelism — speaking at UiPath and industry events and representing the agentic platform to the regional ecosystem.
- Bring an industry‐relevant perspective to client conversations, drawing on knowledge of regional priorities (financial services, telco, mining) across Africa.
- Manage multiple opportunities in parallel, prioritising effectively and operating with strong commercial judgement.
- Contribute to the Presales community by sharing reusable assets — BPMN reference models, demo blueprints, discovery frameworks, and competitive guidance.
