The Epic Client System Administrator (ECSA) is responsible for the configuration, monitoring, support and administration of the Epic Client Systems infrastructure. The Epic Client System Administrator (ECSA) will help to maintain and support the client systems and servers supporting our customers. High level tasks include support of Interconnect, MyChart, Hyperspace Web, Printing, and other Client Systems. The Epic Client System Administrator (ECSA) must be a self-motivated individual with exceptional communication, presentation and interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in team environments. You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week. Primary Responsibilities: - Configure and maintain the various Client Systems modules - Engage in capacity planning exercises to ensure adequate system resources like RAM, CPU, and storage - Monitor client server size, health, and performance - Apply updates to production and non-production environments - Follow vendor and Epic best practices for hardware and software configuration - Respond to emergency after-hours issues - Collaborate with technical teams and Epic support You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
