As an Annuity IMO Regional Wholesaler, you'll market annuity service products through various Independent Marketing Organizations (IMOs). Key Responsibilities - Identifies, meets and connects with IMOs and financial professionals to promote Nationwide products and services. - Assists IMOs in identifying and marketing to financial professionals. - Consults with and educates IMOs on all aspects of annuity business. - Encourages repeat business with IMOs. - Coordinates with Nationwide's team of specialists regarding cross-selling opportunities, referrals and joint meetings. - Calls on IMOs within assigned territory to establish General Agency Agreements. - Markets products and provides training on products. - Provides field support and expertise to producers, including public seminars and client visitations. - Provides presence through exhibitor booths, seminars and presentations, top producers and other formal IMO gatherings. - Coordinates IMO input, suggestions and questions on financial service products. - Provides customer service support to IMOs within assigned territory by acting as communication link to the corporate office. - Provides sales management with weekly updates on activity. - Coordinates the licensing of IMOs and producers licensing with IMOs. - Manages territory to minimize disruption with other distribution systems. - Provides input on products and services that will serve client needs and produce sufficient volume and profits. - Manages territory activities to assure they are meeting overall company objectives. - Establishes follow-up system crafted to visit key IMO offices on a regular basis. - May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications - Undergraduate studies in business, finance, communications or liberal arts preferred. - FINRA Series 6 or 7, Series 63, Series 65, state life/annuity insurance agent licenses required. - CLU, ChFC, FLMI, CFP, ASPPA designations preferred. - Five years of internal or external wholesaling experience in financial service products through broker dealer firms. Requirements - Solid understanding of college-level mathematics, finance, statistics, economics, and investment management theories/practices. - Knowledge of financial service products, annuities, life insurance, contracts, securities trading and regulations, and competitor products, policies, practices, and procedures in customer service and investment products processing. - Very strong social skills. - Proven ability to communicate. - Ability to effectively present state continuing education courses to industry professionals. - Excellent time management and organizational skills.
