Software Engineer II – ServiceNow Platform
Akamai Technologies
• Developing and enhancing ITSM processes including Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Asset Management, Service Catalog. • Developing and maintaining scripts, integrations, and APIs to extend ServiceNow's functionality and integrate with other systems. • Creating and maintaining workflows, business rules, UI policies, detailed technical specifications and documentation. • Working closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the ServiceNow platform. • Collaborating with key stakeholders to identify areas for process improvement and automation using ServiceNow capabilities. • Presenting status updates to key stakeholders while participating in software design, project planning, and monitoring its performance in production
Job Requirements
- 2 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or it's equivalent.
- Active Security Clearance.
- ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA), ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in various modules.
- Good understanding of ITIL processes and IT service management concepts.
- Experience with the ServiceNow Customer Service Management module.
- Experience in ServiceNow scripting languages (JavaScript, GlideScript, etc.), and integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Good team player that enjoys collaborating and solving problems.
