You will support the development and execution of sourcing strategies for spend categories and support the continuous improvement and standardization of the strategic sourcing processes How you will contribute You support spend category teams to develop and execute sourcing strategies for specific spend categories. To excel in this role, you interact with cross-functional stakeholders to manage spend and market analytics (for example, conducting "make or buy" analyses). You also generate insights from bid events, prepare supplier negotiation materials, support project execution and supplier relationship management, and drive controls and compliance. What you will bring A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career with experience and knowledge in: - Procurement - Data Analytics - ability to analyze and visualize large amounts of data - Supply market analysis experience preferred - Project management - Negotiating, influencing and building collaborative relationships More about this role What you need to know about this position: Main responsibilities: - Support NA sugar and Dairy strategy development and implementation - Analyze regional spend data and understand the business needs. - Provide regional market and supplier insights to maximize opportunities. - Define the supplier negotiation strategy at country, and/or regional level. - Represent Raw Materials Procurement NA on Projects for our internal and External Network (EM) in the projects for the region - Be part of the workshops to support providing market insights such as category profile, SKU, spend and use that information to drive overall cost improvement or business growth - Get consumer insights and market trends from the suppliers and Spend Area leads to share with stakeholders - Be in close contact with the Procurement Innovation Team and R&D to provide an understanding on commercial and supply feasibility for new ideas - Support the team to build pipeline thru Continuous Improvement (CI) ideas generated by the suppliers and help the Spend Area Category to move ideas thru I2M/Volt efficiently - Support the Spend Area in the projects execution Education / Certifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent. Job specific requirements: Minimum5 years experiences in business, ideally within Procurement and/or Manufacturing. Travel requirements: From 10% to 15% Work schedule: From Monday to Friday. Hybrid role. Salary and Benefits: The expected base salary range for this position is $93,300 to $ CAD116,650 depending on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible to participate in a highly competitive bonus program with a target of 10% with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
