Presales Solution Architect
TD SYNNEX
• Join TD SYNNEX as a Pre-Sales Solution Architect and help shape service solutions that power our global Product Support Services portfolio. • Lead presales engagements: analyze RFI/RFP requirements, validate customer needs, and design tailored service solutions. • Collaborate with capture and proposal teams to craft compelling, compliant solution frameworks and bid strategies. • Attend meetings, clarify requirements, and perform gap analyses to refine solutions. • Act as the link between presales and delivery to enable smooth execution. • Lead supply chain solution development and opportunity capture supporting TD SYNNEX OEM and channel partners. • Design, orchestrate, and implement solution sets that enhance profitability, productivity, and efficiency across operations. • Apply in-depth knowledge of domestic and international supply chain strategy, practices, and procedures. • Perform demand and cost analysis, supply risk assessments, and design models spanning manufacturing, fulfillment, 3PL warehousing, logistics, and transportation. • Develop technical requirements, cost models, and sourcing strategies to support bids. • Validate offerings from internal teams and partners against technical, cost, and compliance standards. • Onboard, vet, and integrate new delivery partners into our global services network. • Identify and participate in continuous improvement projects to advance lean execution and operational excellence.
Job Requirements
- 8–10 years in the IT industry, with at least 3 years in sales engineering or consulting.
- 3-5 years' experience building and deploying supply chain solutions.
- 1–3 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or an IT-related field preferred.
- Technical certifications with major OEMs (e.g., Cisco, NetApp, IBM, Hitachi, Dell/EMC) are a plus.
- CLTD certification is ideal but not required.
- Advanced understanding of supply chain and OEM ecosystems.
- Strong solution design, presales architecture, and proposal writing abilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to negotiate and drive win–win outcomes.
- Strong leadership, organization, and time management; comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
- Advanced proficiency in relevant computer systems, modeling tools, and productivity platforms (e.g., spreadsheets, cost modeling, CRM/CPQ tools).
