Role Description The Production Assistant aids the Creative Services Video and Production Services teams with a variety of media management and organizational tasks required for shoots and the creation of promotional assets. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in video marketing, exceptional time-management and organizational skills, and a desire to learn more about the many intricacies that go into shooting and producing promotional video assets for major broadcast and streaming platforms. The Production Assistant will need to work independently on a wide array of production tasks, and also be a strong team-player who is eager to aid the entire team with completing work more efficiently. Please note, this is not a video editing or assistant editing position, although interest and prior skill is welcome, it is not required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Locate and log a wide variety of behind-the-scenes, interview, and EPK shoot footage for the Video and Marketing teams - Work across multiple teams to assist with the delivery and management of shoot footage - Prep shoot footage for external vendor requests - Manage sensitive assets and confidential video streams under explicit and implied NDA - Prep and submit interview shoot footage for color grading - Request, organize and upload transcripts for all marketing and social shoots - Locate promotional materials delivered by external partners and QC them for accuracy according to the Video team’s editing needs - Track internal drive delivery and match to production notes to assure all content is present - Update and maintain logging master projects created by the Video team within Adobe Premiere - Log for specific content within Premiere Pro to assist editors - Assist in tracking down content for internal asks from various departments - Manage lower-third database within Workfront - Create title reports for internal legal review Qualifications - An interest in learning about video promotion for broadcast and streaming platforms - Basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere and Adobe Media Encoder - Strong organizational and time-management skills - Strong written and verbal communications skills - A commitment to content security and IT best practices is required - A secure, fast, and stable home internet connection that supports remote video work (100+ mb/s) is required - A secure, auditable workspace away from doors, windows, foot traffic is required Compensation $65,000 - $75,000 Benefits - Full Coverage – Medical, Vision, and Dental - Annual discretionary bonus and merit increase - Work/Life Balance – generous sick days, vacation days, holidays, and wellness days - 401(k) company matching - Tuition Reimbursement (up to graduate degree)
• Work on development tasks for video delivery systems, to include materials ingest, Digital Rights Management (DRM), Adaptive Bitrate Streaming formats, and content delivery • Participate in development discussions and complete assigned tasks • Collaborate with the broader development team, quality assurance professionals, designers, business analysts and other software engineers in an open, creative environment
• Gather pipeline requirements • Design a data extraction and delivery process • Build data export and delivery pipelines • Create documentation outline the pipeline architecture and functionality • Learn under the guidance, support, and mentorship of the data products and team
• Collaborate with stakeholders and engineers to gather requirements • Contribute to solution design and architecture discussions • Implement backend and frontend components of the solution • Write test automation to validate the functionality and prevent regressions • Deploy and monitor the solution • Learn modern engineering practices like code reviews, CI/CD, observability, etc.
