Hospital Support Associate
Sentara Health
• Customer Service Representatives provide exceptional support to members and patients by assisting with benefits, billing, scheduling, and account inquiries • Central Communications Operator play a critical role in coordinating emergency and non-emergency communications across our hospitals and emergency departments • Referral Specialists support our Central Access Center by scheduling patients, verifying insurance eligibility, managing referrals, and delivering an outstanding patient experience
Job Requirements
- at least 2 years of experience in a high-volume call center, communications, healthcare, emergency services, or customer service environment
- 2 years of customer service experience
- data entry and scheduling experience
- call center and Epic experience are preferred
- at least 1 year of customer service experience with knowledge of medical terminology, Epic, and Bariatrics experience preferred
